The California Dance Classics Festival provides an invaluable opportunity for upcoming young artists to perform alongside, and learn from professional principal dancers and master teachers, creating a rich learning experience for all involved. Outstanding performers from each California Dance Classics competition will be invited to participate in the Festival Weekend, where they will engage in Classical Ballet, Repertoire, and Contemporary workshops, as well as collaborate on performance staging. The weekend will culminate in a Concert Performance, celebrating our art—dance.

This festival provided an invaluable opportunity for upcoming young artists to perform alongside and learn from professional principal dancers, creating a rich learning experience for all involved. The atmosphere was electrifying as the audience enjoyed a wide range of breathtaking performances. This unique and extraordinary festival united dancers from studios across California. Dancers traveled from near and far to come together, working cohesively and collaboratively, fostering a sense of camaraderie in this unforgettable showcase of artistry and talent!

Day One at the Dance Arts Foundation Festival offered students the unique privilege of learning firsthand from the Festival Principal Guest Artists, Festival Director, and faculty. Students enjoyed immersive classes in Classical Ballet, Classical Repertoire, and Contemporary Workshops. The day concluded with performance staging and a rehearsal of "Encore," the Festival Finale to be performed the following day.
